Another one from 2009, an exam piece. The theme was ‘opulence’. The background was created from my own pattern and a throne from google images (:/). The white base of the main image is also digital but the drawing itself is in pen. Why? I had to actually have something to do under surveillance during the exam.

Decided to post some old art (some of the bits I still like from my art A level) because why not. Here is ye olde Gabriel, from back when he was still just a fledgling (character hoho). He’s gotten much less scary and much more silly since.

The first two are white acrylic paint on wallpaper, with pen on top. The last one is a photoshop mockup. This was the only way I could manage to incorporate colour into my work. Not much has changed.

Quick doodle of Dormouse in photoshop - it’s been a while for both.

Half birthday half thank-you gift for floralchild.
My dear friend Emily encouraged me to experiment more with my art, particularly on the digital side of things (something I’ve neglected for a few years) - so I decided to try out some old techniques with this. Hope you like it McKenzy (:

Design for my mother, printed on a tote bag for mother’s day 2010. It’s possible that only we can appreciate this.
